331.4

Not a lot, but downward, so I'm satisfied.

I've been eating past full for the last few days. I've done better today, though. And I actually exercised last night. I did 3 sets 15 each of isolation biceps curls and overhead triceps extensions, both with 10lb weights, and shoulder press and side arm raise with 5lb weights. Tonight we're going to mow, and possible move some rocks for a border in front of the house.

I've tried to make up a personal scale on hunger and fullness. On the fullness side here's satisfied, full, stuffed, and then overstuffed to the point of illness. I try to keep it in the satisfied to full range, and most of the time I manage to do that, but I do get close to the stuffed range.

Don't beat yourself up for having some "past full" days. I'm viewing it as a learning experience to look for the signs that tell me when I'm full, satisfied, etc., and hopefully I'll be able to get used to listening to those signs and stopping at satisfied most of the time.

And if I don't? Well, there's always the next time.

It sounds like things are going great. Keep up the good work!

To borrow a line from my Emmaus walk, "take out a clean sheet of paper". That has stuck with me all this time. Grace is taking out a clean sheet of paper every day of your life.

Remember to live life according to what is right not by feeling. If we wait for the feeling to be right it will never happen.

You have come so far, keep up the great work. Don't stop challenging yourself to do more. You are worth it. You are strong.

Love Ya, Shauna

Thanks, girls, for your continued supportive comments. It helps so much knowing that others have been/are there, and understand!

since i've been eating without punishment, i've found myself actually wanting to go to the gym and enjoying my workouts when i get there.

such a change from flogging myself into going for having "messed up" with the food at some point during the day.

mowing and hauling rocks is a big workout :-)
